I really missed the boat on this pedal. I wanted one for a long time, based on the incredible clips on his website, but then Dave Fox stopped making them. The few i've seen on ebay recently are going for outrageous prices. Foxrox says not to ask about when the TZF will be back ( i guess he's buried with Aquavibe orders!). Anyways, i just wondered if any TGPers had heard any rumors about its return..

Yeah its a great flanger, probably the best. For me tho there are too many features. I've herad he's coming out with a unit that has the sound but less knobs and smaller. I'd be all over that.

The original TZF won't be back but I think he is working on a slightly simpler version that can still do all the TZF sounds. It will probably sound even better if I know Dave.

Yeah, he mentioned that a while back. I wonder if it's even close to being ready.

I certainly hope it's not a "simpler" version, as I love the complexity and all the tweaking behind the original. Either way, I'm gonna' have to get one...
Why did Dave even stop building these in the first place? I was soooo stupid not to get one new when they were available for $369 :(

I think he stopped making them because the chips used in them were no longer available. I'm glad I grab mine when I did, not to rub in your faces, just saying, but if he is coming out with a more simpler unit that does TZF it will be a hit. I'll tell you this, once you hook it up in stereo and the first time you get that Through Zero Flanging going and hit a few chords, man you will never be the same.

    Creme de la creme flanger.
IMO it will be new version and not obviously better.
It is in high demand and having couple is not non-sense at all.

Hopefully it will be the same size as the Aqua/Octron/HotSilicon.

I also wish that he would make a single channel ZIM.

Its funny how when they were available people balked at the price and said "OMG $389 for a FLANGER, are you kidding me?" and now people are lamenting not getting one at the bargain price from when they were new.

I had a TZF but sold it. No regrets.....
I found it too complicated....just my opinion.
IF dave released a simple TZF I would order is immediately.
The sound was the best though!

I ended up getting one a few days ago (for an inflated, but fair price) and it should be here any day... I'm not a swirly effect person, but the TZF is something else, IMO. I had one on loan for a month or so and now just miss it like mad. Great effect.

Was lucky enough to pick one of these up from Dave before he quit making them. Went ahead and got it with the expression pedal also. I also picked up a CC2 before he stopped making them too.
