Not so sure about that...for a lot of players with arm and shoulder issues, Pro Kennex (along with Volkl) offers some joint friendly racquet choices.

I honestly had no idea they were still around. As I'm sure you recall, they used to be kinda the 'off brand' sold by stores not specializing in tennis.

    Glad they found their niche!

Btw Aussie Pat Cash (Wimbledon champ 1987) has a nice black Les Paul Custom amongst others.

I cried when he went up through the stands to hug his Dad. That's what sports is all about. And yes! Go Fed!

Clearing my Sunday schedule to watch the men's final. Should be a great one. I guess I will root for Fed, although I like them both. I really enjoyed the Djokovic v. RBA match, especially the point that lasted 45 shots. Phew!

As others have said, the sport has been dominated by three great ambassadors. There are lots of interesting players in the game though, so I remain very interested in watching some great tennis.

Wow, Simona Halep has Serena on the ropes. Did not expect that, since Serena has won 9 out of the 10 times they’ve played. Serena looks tight.

But it’s not over til it’s over with Serena.

Seems to have been a comprehensive victory, too: 6-2, 6-2.

Well deserved. She's been tough as nails throughout the entire tournament. Looking forward to seeing her in the US Open.

That's a pretty ludicrous thing to post, but I guess you haven't been paying attention. Federer loves the game, and that's what keeps him in competition with himself. Actually goes for all three of them.

When the guard is changing a bit sad to see the decline of the old lioness but exciting to see the young one excelling.

    River of life, man.

Fed's uncanny ability to stay healthy while maintaining his elite status on the world stage is a huge and often unspoken component to his success. He is a freak of nature in that respect. But I 100% agree that he is defending his astounding legacy as much as he is playing for the love of it.

True, but I think Serena may have one or maybe even two more majors in her. She's still not back in top shape, and has made no secret of the fact that she's gunning for the tie with Margaret Court's record of 24. IMO, that would cement her status as the GOAT, although I think she's already done that.

Either way, this sets up well for the US Open, where both Serena and Halep will be extremely motivated contenders!

Just watched the highlights from the ladies' final. Great match by Simona. Very sympathetic personality as well.
