Wiring help for Les Paul. Low volume, no tone control.

Hello all, thanks for reading.

I just finished wiring a les paul guitar. When I play through the amp, it lacks volume, but I can hear it when I turn way up. Also, the tone knobs don't work.

Post a pic of what you did.

Its not that uncommon to burn out a pot or cap

There's nothing here for us to go on. What wiring diagram were you following? Did you go back and make sure that the wiring in the guitar follows that diagram?
