I hear many bad things about Gibson lately, and I am not here to comment on that stuff. However, I just wanted to mention some positive feedback about their customer service. I purchased a USA Standard Slash model on April 1 and my local dealer said that they did not come with a certificate of authenticity. After reading a bit more online, I found out that they did come with COA's. I called the dealer who I bought the guitar from and they had no idea about this. I checked with Gibson USA and they responded immediately with contact information for the distributor here in Canada. I checked with them and by the next day they had already called my dealer with all of my info and sent the COA out to them with instructions to call me as soon as they get it. I think that is excellent customer service...something sorely lacking in most places today. That's my story. Kudos to Gibson on this one. By the way, the Slash LP ROCKS too, so good for Gibson on that too.
