Andrew, thank you for all the details you are sharing!!!
It's was a pleasure chatting with you the other day.
You have very good taste in tone.
This week so far 4 orders from Indianapolis IN !
I am not exactly sure who is spreading the word out there but.... THANK YOU!
Customer feedback from this morning:
about.... Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 Plus
Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 Plus is an excellent power supply
that's capable of 18Volt.... but note:
-You need the optional Y cable to get 18V.(It doesn't come by default with power supply)
-There is some confusion about the mini dip switches and output 5 and 6.
When you flip the switch you are getting unregulated voltage (about 12V-14V) from output 5 and 6.... not 18V
So if you have one of these babies make sure to get the Y cable.
You can also try the 12V-14V it will be a nice variation, highs will be semi open and the lows will be semi compressed.
Nuances.... finger and 2 different picks, volume and tone adjustments
on the guitar:
Nice demo Andrew. Great shot & great sound quality!
My new camera setup is more work (need to sync up audio and video)
but the results are pretty good on both audio and video!
Q - But there are 3 different cables available at their website, what is the exact model number I need?
A - You need Part# PPY it's the top one on their page:
-Gain on MAX
-Hi-Cut on 1 o'clock
-Note, Level at 9:30 !
Basically MAX gain and everything is controlled from the guitar as if it was an amp.
50's wiring, VOL on 6 and up, Tone on 3 and up.
Backing the Volume on the guitar helps... a lot.... in getting a soft attack.

More confusion fer ya...
Does the 9 volt one come with its power supply and if you order the D18 does it come with both or just the 18?
(Otherwise how you gonna try them both?)
Site says "also"
model: D18 also includes an 18Volt wallwart
and, I see a battery in the picture - will it also run on batteries and for how long?
Sorry, after the introductory period (Jul-01) we will introduce some changes to simplify things and avoid all this confusion.
As for now:
- model: D is just the pedal
- model: D18 is the pedal + a Dunlop 18V wallwart
Yes, it can work on a 9V battery.
The pedal is very efficient, I do not have the exact running times
but I will look into this and get back to you.
So the D does not have the 9V adaptor?
How much extra are they?
We do not sell 9V adapters.
The Wiz-Pedal has the standard 2.1mm Center pin Negative jack
found on the majority of pedals (same as Boss)
Current requirement is very low (way below 50ma)... so you can use
any 9V adapter as long as the polarity is center negative.
Here is the short answer: at least 21 hours.
Here is the long one:
Wiz Pedal model D Max current draw at 9V is 26mA
Alkaline 9V (565mA) ---------- 21 hours ------- PAB off 31 hours
Carbon 9V (400mA) ----------- 15 hours ------ PAB off 22 hours
Lithium 9V (1200mA) ---------- 46 hours ------ PAB off 66 hours
NOTE as with most pedals, the pedal will draw 11mA in standby mode.

Nice playing. What were your pedal settings? Could you post without pedal and play and with pedal on and play?
