Wolf Hall?

    Anybody watching this?? (I know it's on PBS here)

    I think it's terrifically good .... Henry VIII, Thomas Cromwell, Thomas More, Anne Boleyn ... really well done (& typically I think most stuff done about this period is not well done at all.) Recommended!

    The after show show detailing the general history and long term effects of the reign of Henry VIII was pretty interesting also.

    My wife read the books and got me in to watching it. I had little desire to - even though I used to teach the time period - precisely because the productions were always so bad. I'll opine that this isn't necessarily better written, but the acting is very good.

    I've like Damien Lewis going back to Frank Winters in Band of Brothers. I had no idea he was British.
