I'm more of a Triffid Gravy fan myself. :D

Nice track. Very smooth and nice laid back feel. I like your tone too. Good stuff. Thanks for posting.

Done! Also eliminated a bit of bass, and added a little lower mids.

    Thanks for feedback!

Appreciate the comments, thanks for listening everyone :)

Beautiful playing! Mix made some of your lower string licks sound kid of distorted (on my speakers, anyhow), but I loved the lines you played. Very smooth! Question, did you use roundwound strings and just roll off the tone, or are you using flatwounds on that?

Thanks! I tried to eliminate distortion by removing some bass in the newer mix I did, but yeah, there seems to be a bit of it left still. As to the strings, it's an 11-50 set roundwounds, and I rolled down to about 6 on the tone knob. I did some eq'ing afterwards though, and added a bit in the lower mid area, just to fatten up things slightly.

    Thanks, RB, that's very appreciated!

Here's the backing, would be very cool to hear your take on it (there might be some bandwidth limits on dl's):

Great stuff, RB! Lots of cool ideas in there, I especially dug the 1:53 thing, which had some serious rhythmic hipness going on!
