    to have a dd20 AND a timeline??

The dd20 is awesome but if i get a timeline, cant i do pretty much all the same stuff and more with just that? All i really use on the boss are the tape (2 heads) digital, analog and modulate.

For most things I would say Yes. But if you're really into delays with your playing, maybe not. Players with multiple digital delays on their board is not unheard of.

Using two delays together isn't that uncommon, especially if you do something like I did yesterday and use a DD-5 to get your basic delay going and then add an Ice delay from the Timeline to get an effect over that. So no, not redundant. But I'm a delay whore, so "take it with a grain of salt" and all...

Once my Timeline gets in I'll have that plus a DD-20 and a big box DMM. I've been wondering if this will be overkill as well, but at the same time, it's not like I'll be using all three on a board together or anything.
