Bruno was awesome. That should be exhibit A in the "stage presence" thread about how music can be enhanced by great, fun performance.

Derivative but well-executed. I dug the guitar work in that song.

Loved LL Cool J's opening monologue. Very classy and heartfelt. Summed up what most people are feeling and set the tone for the night. Great job.

Goota agree about the opening monologue. Very heartfelt.

Loved Bruno! Had never heard of him before. Great performance.

Chris Brown reminded me why I do not enjoy popular music. All style over substance, autotune and lip syncing! Ouch! Nice moves though.

The kid's got serious talent. He was rocking some James Brown moves and vibe up there.

It'd be nice to see him get away from the pop stuff and make a more serious musical mark.

Bruno was great! Like the hair and gold suit. Sort of an Elvis meets James Brown. Very cool!

Yeah that was a pretty stark contrast following two showtime talents like Alicia and Bonnie.

Agree with all of the above, I'd just started a thread on Bruno on the GC forum. Blew me away.

He (unexpectedly) blew me away with that performance -i love JB Does any of his recorded music match that performance? I am not a fan of the more commercial stuff.
