Good clips would go a long way toward making this pedal something to consider.

Heard ya the 1st time ;).
There's already a video, and the camera mic just makes all 3 pedals sound terrible. I'm just hoping someone makes some good audio clips, with a proper mic.

here's a quick and dirty clip. This is a fairly traditional sounding setting and the gain is almost on zero so it's capable of an incredible range of tones. I'll be doing a video later:

Very nice indeed! I am sure that has more to do with the fingers and soul than it does with the pedal! :drool

Which guitar Jack? Also, what wah?

So I'm also curious what type of circuit or combination circuit is used to get the range of tones claimed. Maybe the texture knob blends between some type of transistor fuzz circuit and an op-amp or jfet circuit?

Interesting since the BTMB website says the Six of Swords can get all the sounds of the Anthology pedal which included fuzz face and tonebender.

Also, I looked up "Six of Swords" and discovered it is a Tarot card representing "A hasty decision, greed and/or thoughtless behavior, the individual acts in an impulsive fashion. It represents secret plans, hidden dishonor, frustration and the possibility of failure."

I could be wrong on that. I haven't played a lot with the X knob. Maybe you're right. I'll email them and see what they say.

The pedal abd your playing sound great in your clip, Jack. But the manufacturer should delete that crappy vid of the 6 Swords and the Muff and TS. They all sound like crap in the vid. He'll be out of biz if people start circulating those clips.

    :agree

The pedals sound buzzy and thin in the BTMB vid. Bad.

You are confused with the seven of swords or the info on that particular site is incorrect.

It's from wikipedia. If wrong, you can correct it. I won't claim to know, or even really care. Though if it is wrong, what does six of swords mean per your understanding?

the base meanings of the minor arcana are traditionally derived from a combination of the suit and number. The suit of swords represents action and ability. The number 6 represents a return to normalcy or harmony because it is the number after 5, which represents disorder. So the combined meaning is often interpreted as impnding change or journey. But the introduction of the very popular rider-Waite-smith deck opened the meaning of tarot cards to more picture interpretation. The most important thing to know is that there is no one meaning for each card. The true meaning is different for each person based on how the interpret the symbols in each card. The best tarot references will explain the symbols rather than say this card means this and that card means that.
