WTB - Dynamic mic for guitar cabs under $50

    Im looking for a decent dynamic mic for guitar amp applications for $50 used... Anyone selling? Thanks y'all!

    Also looking for any omnidirectional mics under 30.

    Why not spend just a few bucks more and get a Shure SM-57, an industry standard???

    you should be able to find used 57's for $50, maybe $60. new they are about $90. don't cheap out on microphones!

    I've seen a few Audix D3 sell for that money. D4 is good as well, but sell for upwards of $100. I've heard the old (and rare but not expensive) EV DS-35 sound good.

    I actually went for the Prodipe mentioned above... for $24 and a very strong review from Sound on Sound it was worth it. Im not big on 57s to be honest. Really my question was posed in hopes of discovering some lesser known but legit mics, even if they are mics that have a very distinct flavor you might not want for every application. Think Teisco guitars, or a RAT pedal.
