I wish they'd change the headstock again- the first batch of Xaviers looked so much better as far as the headstock goes. The LP style guitars now have that clunky headstock that looks like an old Applause acoustic guitar.
I'm sure i'll but one of them at some point- they're supposed to be amazing for the price- and with a price like that you could mod the living dirt out of it.
Not with that model, but the S and T style guitars seem to be outrageously popular among the barroom players looking for something to bring to that "questionable" gig.
And the LP's are picking up for the rockers doing the same thing.
I can only imagine the 335's are of the same quality.
FWIW, I'm pulling the trigger on a T-style semihollow H/H after the 1st of the year...
I say go for it, at the most - you're out a few hundred and have something to plink around on at the house or bring out to a dive bar.
I've been tempted by those and the one w/ humbuckers a few times. This year I may have to explore either one of those or the new thinline dual humbucker teles...
