Most members keep their email hidden; try conversations - which are private messages.
Any answer to this yet?
Yes, I understand about the conversations, but for guys I've emailed in the past, I can't seem to find their email link anymore.
Shoot, someone emailed me today from TGP, and I can't figure out how he did it, because I can't even find my own email link
The power to change titles and delete is up to the user once again. Same as it was. Click on "thread tools' to the upper right to change titles.
Due to scammers harvesting emails from accounts in the past, we are not setting show email as default to visitors. Use conversations to get member emails if you prefer email, assuming the member has their email set to 'hide'.
Thanks, that is much appreciated.
"EVERYONE gets an avatar!!!" - Is this something that is Important ?
How do I view the threads I posted? Forums --> Watched threads doesn't show them.
You have to tell it to .... see preferences
does it highlight searched items in red?... not doing it for me... thx
What does it mean to "follow" someone? I went to the Xenforo site, but could not find anything that would answer the question. And, how can you tell if anyone is following you?
You get alerts when they post.
overall great job, thank you very much. love the new format.
only thing i miss is the drop down menu that used to be at the bottom of each page so you could pick what sub forum to jump to.
You'll like the one here better. It's the little 'up arrow' icon on the right bottom and top of every page. Click that.
Cool. Is there any way to see if anyone is following yourself?
Yes, in your profile. Look on the left in your profile view.
Scott, thanks. Mine has a line for "People you follow" and one for "People you ignore", but not on for "People who follow you".
I found you have to look at "Your Profile Page" (right under your TGP name) which will show "Followers"
I miss the old click on someone's username and you can see ALL their posts. I used this to dig up my old threads before. Now when I click on my username I get to my Profile Page but when I click on view posts, I only get the last 10-20 or so posts not all of them.
Is there a way to find ALL my posts?
Just found the way to search all posts "Your Posts" under profile. Still miss the option when clicking on someone's username.
Click their username, click their profile and then click their content.
Thanks for the reply. When I look, I only see options for "Postings". I'm assuming that's what you're meaning by their "Content". When I click that, I only get one page of posts (not the entire history of posts). On the old software, it was really easy to see ALL the posts in the past (page after page). See the two screenshots below of what I get when I just tested it.
