Look at the very bottom of the second screenshot. Click "Find all content by XYZ" in the blue bar. I know it's another step, but you'll get everything.

Excellent! Thanks for the pointer. It's hard to catch everything on something as detailed as this.

There are two things in particular that I want to ask about.

    1. Thread view counts - I can't see them.

    2. There don't seem to be time stamps on Conversation posts. These are important. Is there a way to fix them?

Note - I view TGP on iPhone/iPad 99% of the time. Maybe it's that? Anybody else able to see either of the above on a non-iOS browser?

    Thank you!

    Thanks.

Turns out I was just overlooking the Conversation time stamps. I feel like a moron.

As far as thread view counts, nope. Can't/am not seeing them.

They are over on the right under the number of replies. You can't see them on an iPad?

Nope. iPhone either. Latest software on both. Here's what I'm seeing in horizontal and landscape views:

Weird. It must drop those out when it shrinks it down.

Try the new "remove avatars" and "horizontal post" settings in your preferences to see if that changes it.

Scott, on a related note, members' join dates, message counts, and locations don't show up next to their name in thread posts when viewed on an iPhone. There's no difference with the avatars on or off.

    No dice. :(

    Thanks for the suggestion though.

prob a stupid question, but is there any way to stop every square inch from popping something up? I see this on other sites too, it happens less with a mouse but on a laptop it seems if I hesitate just a bit or miss a drag, some huge window pops up that I have to click on a free area to get rid of it...I'm doing it all the time :(

why? Would rather click on it like the old days :)

    thanks

Within a week or so, we'll have a new Style for you to choose should you prefer a wholly text/icon driven version of TGP.

But you don't! Or at least I don't. Not one. Why not?

I don't know but I just got an alert that you replied to this thread. I imagine your settings are possibly incorrect?

That is good - at least the functionality does exist - but how do I correct them? I started a new topic (maybe I shouldn't have) and this is what I said there:

And also, I Googled for "Xenefro follow" and found that on other forums using the software, Follow alerts show up on a "News Feed" built into the user profile. But we don't seem to have a News Feed, or at least I don't when I hover over my user name at the top right of the page.

Anyway I'll gladly fix the relevant settings if you can tell me what & where they are!

Over on the top right by your profile, you'll see "Alerts" and that is your watched "Newsfeed" in essence. You can set preferences for each of your watched threads and or watched forum sections to email you when new posts also.

And that is where "Follow alerts" aren't showing up!

So what settings do I need to make this happen? I have tried everything I can think of.

I just logged into your account and they are showing for me. Have you tried clicking on Alerts?

I see Alerts only for threads I am following. So for example if one of the members I am following posts a comment in a thread I am NOT already following, I do not get an alert that he/she has posted a comment in that thread.

Perhaps it is a privacy setting these users all have? It's only 4 or 5 people so that seems plausible, given that many people do seem to opt for more rather than less privacy in a large forum.

If your privacy settings are not set to restricted visibility, perhaps I can try following you & see if I get alerts?
