Xotic AC Copper finish looks rusty/oxydize...

Hello

I just bought a used Xotic AC with the limited edition copper finish.

The original owner didn't took good care of the finish, now it has spots that looks like it had eat through the finish.

I want to know if there's any fix to it or if I'm able to get a new case somewhere and move the internal parts over... I'm not diggin that copper finish anyways...

If it's actually copper, you can clean it with something mildly acidic, like ketchup.

It shouldn't rust. It will darken and may turn green.

I don't mind if it changed color as long as those spots are gone.

Do wipe it with ketchup?

Looks like the very thin copper plating has worn off in spots.

Damn... I wish I could get a new casing in regular color...

Doesnt look that bad.... does it really matter that much? If it sounds great just play it and enjoy it!!! Could always order a new box in whatever finish you wanted and pre drilled from
