Depends on your application. They're quite underpowered and have very little bottom end (specs say 65 Hz, but at -10dB): 20W of power (shared between HF and LF) and a 4" woofer.
At this end of the spectrum, a shift in budget can make a very large difference.
The MSP3s run about $165 each. For $249 each, the KRK Rokit 8 with 90W and an 8" woofer offers much better bass response, and are biamped. Even if you need to stay within the $300 range, the Rokit 5 (5" woofer, 45W, $149 each) offers far better performance. IMHO, YMMV, all that.
