Hi all.

I've just purchased this reasonably nice condition Yamaha SE812 that was made in Taiwan (probably late run). Its a Floydy HSS super-stratty thing.
I'd like to know if my wiring is standard?

Top knob is master volume
2nd knob is tone for neck s/c
3rd knob is Tone for middle s/c plus push/push coil split for bridge HB

I'm asking because the video on YouTube from MainStage Guitars
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PlRr4EmFNCE
shows a demo of an SE812 where the third knob is doing a kind of spin-a-split or even gradual series/parallel trick and only affects the bridge HB.

Does anyone have one of these guitars or even remember the control layout of the one they used to own?

I'm thinking of swapping the wiring around to give me:

Top knob is master volume
2nd knob is tone for neck s/c and middle s/c
3rd knob is Tone for HB plus push/push coil split for bridge HB

Unless there's a funkier way you might suggest?

Cheers
