Got this country backing track here at TGP, and gave a couple of passes...

First is more traditional. Clean with some delay and a bit of 'verb from the MAZ 38. More along the Vince Gill/Steve Wariner lines.

Second is dirtier, more modern-type country tone. Tips the hat more towards Brad P./ Keith U., etc. No 'verb, no delay.

Thanks, guys... Yep, love my Dr. Z's. If you listen to the different clips on my Soundclick page, I hope it really helps drive the point home of how versatile the MAZ amps are. I've purposely tried to do different types of stuff to show of fthat amp... I just can't find a weakness with it, except for maybe DEATH METAL....LOL

Jayson, just curious - what type of MAZ setup are you using? Head only or a combo? An 18 or 38?

    Thanks

    I have two. A MAZ 18 Jr combo with 'verb & 2 10's.
    And, a MAZ 38 Sr combo with 'verb & 2 12's.

    Hi Jayson,

Good to hear that my good oleĀ“backing track is getting a proper workout.
I really enjoyed both styles of playing with a tip of the hat to the clean take as it had a wonderful flow in the phrasing and a great country twang sound.

    Cheers,

    Mats N

    Hi John,

Back when I had a LOT more free time I recorded the backing track and posted it here at TGP.

The original thread with the BT is here:

Hope you have fun with it!

Yo Jason!.. I tried to email you from work today & realized your "wmconnect" email wasnt any good anymore... I was needing to ask you some questions about the Weber's we talked about in the past.

P.S. Bob over at Eurotubes told me to tell you hi
