... a 1960 Gibson GA-5 Skylark. I paid 291 dollars (which in my country is an incredibly outstanding deal) and I believe a pretty decent deal in the US of A. Truly made me the happiest man alive, for one or two seconds. It is said to be in a great condition and fully serviced. The seller is 100% positive-feedbacked and has a healthy amount of transactions. My first ever tube amp, so it's an awesome experience for me! I will post some more in Amps and Cabs when it gets in my hands! So happy! Lemme know what you think!

    Jak jest Twoja Polski?

I think the OP's English is just fine, better than many native speakers. IMO.

Congrats on your "new" vintage amp!

Those are neat little amps. The used music store dept of the business I used to work for occasionally got them in. I think they use 6AQ5 tubes, which should be a little easier to get affordably in NOS form than 6BQ5s .

First of all, the fictional character Borat is from Kazakhstan, nowhere near Poland.

Secondly, is there some TGP rule I am unfamiliar with that only members from the US are welcome?

The Skylark uses a 6V6 power tube, as does the Les Paul Jr amp. The Skylark with Tremolo uses a 6BQ5. It's the Crest that uses a pair of 6AQ5's. Who knows why Gibson used the same GA-5 model number for all of these amps.

Are you one of the redneck 'Muricans that Borat so successfully lampooned?
