I'd probably grab a Red Snapper - picked up a really well done clone recently and really dig it.
Hotcake. It can do everything from clean boost to fuzz, and can do it all from your guitar volume knob.
Oxblood into TWE.. message me to remind me and I'll snap a photo of my Oxblood knobs tonight.
Probably the Skreddy Hybrid Fuzz Driver. Boost, OD, or light fuzz. Well-voiced. Good feel and responsiveness. Seems to play well with all my amps. Good at lower or higher volumes.
video demos will dial it in much better than I could with words...
If I’m playing a pop / rock / country / rap gig were I have to “color inside the lines,” I use a Source Audio Soundblox 2 OFD.
If it’s okay to go outside the lines, I use a Source Audio Multiwave Distortion Pro.
Would the BBE preamp be a choice?
It is everything from a clean boost to all sorts of overdrive.
OCD v2. Easy math.
Lovepedal Box of Awesome, because it has two circuits in a single box.
I have one of those. Haven't quite got it figured out. How are you running yours, placement, etc.?
Winford Drive or AMP 11
Origin Effects Revival Drive (big box)
A Rat or any one of its clones.
In this bummer of a scenario,
do I get to keep my amp?
If so, I choose fuzz. Something nasty!
Ethos TWE or Lovepedal Hi Volt.
Wah / EF > TWE > delay > verb > amp
I use a Keeley Oxblood Ge in front of it also, only OD I like with it (tried Timmy v2, KT, SD-1)
What's your amp? I like it through a 18w Dr Z but a 5w Swart don't do it justice
sunset or angry driver
ive been in a “boosted brown” mode lately
plus they both do 2 parallel dirt at once for some really unique tones
Skreddy Lunar Module Mini Deluxe ...
Remarkably versatile pedal that works with all of my amps.
