Music Promoter Boots Deeply Unprofessional Band Mid-Gig

What did this band do to deserve this? Allegedly, they skipped sound check, brought none of their own gear, and played the same tired blues riff for 30 minutes straight. All three of those infractions in the same gig is pretty much unforgivable.

Painful. I would not have been able to sit through that. At least play a song, work out the bugs as you go. Unless, that was their show...

Though it seems they only played the riff for 4 minutes

Not a duplicate. It wasn't 30 minutes it lasted, it was 30 hours

the dude was actually a major label artist, apparently now with issues from "leisure chemicals".

(i didn't understand what was happening either when i first saw the clip, why was some random crappy open mic jam such a big deal? apparently this was the equivalent of somebody at the level of jeff tweedy showing up an hour late with no band and proceeding to randomly noodle on guitar at a live broadcast of austin city limits!)
