You Mac guys liking your Duet2s?

I was ready to purchase one, but then ran across a mondo thread over at GearSlutz that was not at all encouraging on build quality, etc.

Impressions?

I could always buy the RME Babyface instead. It does a bit more and runs on Windows and Mac vs. just Mac. Plus, their drivers and latency are considered by many to be the best in the biz....

I read discouraging thing too- I just love my Duet 2- had the original and this is an improvement in sound as well as feature set and input/output harness.

Really love the control of headphone and speaker volumes. I say
get one a GC and if you dont like it, you can have a nice audition.

The Apogee Logic integration is nice but if I were buying again I'd go for the RME for the extra features, ultra low latency and cross platform capability.
