    Mine:
Speakers Speakers Speakers. Have a broke-in core collection of a few go-to speakers. You'll waste a lot less money on amp purchasing.

Buy a modeler - yes, they're that good now. You'll waste a lot less money on amp purchasing

Give a brand new amp some time to break in before making a final judgment.

You sound like you, no matter what amp you play through.

Save up for a new amp, and then spend that money on lessons!

Match the speaker(s) to the amp.

Great advise! I finally learned this maybe 5 years ago (Thanks to TGP).. Way Before that time I’d always played Marshalls, which always sounded best with Greenbacks...
If I had known this years ago I would have bought or traded probably 50 less amps.....

The more you play, the better you get.

Low watt amps are better; your hearing will last longer.

    Practice social distancing.

Not because of COVID-19, I'm just anti-social in general.

This is mine for most new players.

Buy and sell all the major amp types- fender reverb, tweed, marshall, vox etc. so you get a really good feel for all of them. Take a good couple of years. Then pick one and stick with it. Learn how to dial it in and what watts/size and speakers you like.

Then spend your time practicing instead of worrying about other amps are out there.

I would say lessons from the right person and practice you butt off.

Find something good to do with your life, throw away that guitar.

A metronome will show you how much you actually suck.
