Fulltone GT 500. It has a very light boost mode and a distortion mode. The boost mode can be made to boost volume or distortion with the flick of a toggle switch. Both have very nice EQ sections. I LOVE the distortion side and it has a VERY wide sweep. Most versatile drive I have ever owned.

I like all of the pedals already mentioned, but if you find it you should also chek out the Friedman BE Deluxe, you can go from overdrive (not too mild) to face melting distortion, nice eq with bass mid, treble and presence, tight switch. If you roll back the guitar volume it cleans up nicely. Marshall style, but the best marshall tone

I like the smallbox Lovepedal AMP 11s and have the Platinum and 808 both are wonderful.

I'm with all of those that have suggested the Duellist. I like the KOT but find the Duellist better in most aspects. There is also the Mad Professor Supreme that I've been really happy with, a bit more modern sounding than the Duellist, but still high quality and very tweakable.

I love all of Mike's stuff, but the KoT has never worked for me. I have owned one at least 5 times over the years. I do like the BB side of the Duellist though.

I’d have to go with the J Rockett Tim Pierce Overdrive. Sounds punchy and records beautifully.

If it’s a mini pedal, board then small box Amp11.

if it’s a mini pedalboard, then the Box of Awesome. I like two, different drives in a double pedal.

The only one I've used is the EHX Hot Wax. Great pedal, no complaints.

I keep coming back to the ProAnalog Dual Drive. It has a unique character in the high-mids that I really dig.

Spent more time with mine, and its just an outstanding TS + RAT! I'm gonna give it a bit more room on my board so I don't hit both switches, but its worth it!

I had one. Really like the tone but there's a really annoying volume drop when the pedal is engaged. Even with the volume maxed out

The od2r correct that problem and have a external input for switching between Turbo and standard. Great pedal

After trying quite a lot of dual pedal, I finally understand that I like having two seperate pedals more than one with dual mode.

My favorite mini combo would be the soon to be release MXR Timmy + Mooer Black Secret.

If you're not looking for space saving, it would be Timmy or Bluesbreaker clone with a Rat :)

Box of Rock or Tim. I reckon with those 2 pedals you could nail damn near any sound.
