Itching to try a Tonebender MKII-type fuzz. Like the Skinpimp & Throbak clips I've heard, but am sure there must be at least 10,000 others out there two, hopefully as tasty, but with less wallet pain. Your favorites, bring 'em on!

A MKII is by design a germanium circuit. You can fudge a silicon version with a lot of mods (seriously twice as many parts) but the real deal is better :)

Thanks, and FWIW, your artwork combined with sonic awesomeness is totally worth the price of admission!

I very much appreciate you pointing this out, and will check out Montgomery Appliances, which I had not heard of before. Thanks for posting.

Skinpimp all the way. I own it and it is probably my favorite pedal that I am rocking right now. It screams!!! Its incredible. It literally melts faces. Expensive yes, but worth every penny once you plug it in.

I can confirm this. The pedal is really great too, IMO!

Sola Sound Professional MKII built by David Main, GREAT bender! I also really like the Scarab Deluxe from Basic Audio.
