I tried Zzounds recently and my order got shipped extremely quickly with good communication, tracking information, etc. Also, I wasn't charged for shipping. I don't know how much boutique stuff they have, as I ordered the Ibanez Flying Pan reissue, but I was pleased with my transaction.

The guys at MusicToyz.com are super nice and easy to deal with. And that's funny, I've never had problems with Sweetwater.

Pedal Geek is first choice for me. Sometimes, if I get an order in early enough in the day, I'll get the item delivered the following day. That's not overnight shipping, just ordinary UPS delivery. But since pedalgeek is just about 30 miles away, out on Long Island, delivery can be really quick.

I'm really happy to have found Pedal Geek (as a result of lurking on these boards for a year and a half). I haven't ordered anything from them yet, but I don't know of too many other sites that ship up here to Canada. I've had nothing but bad experiences with Musician's Friend, so I think I know where I'll be ordering effects from in the future!

I *rarely* buy new pedals. Let someone else take the hit. Buy your pedals used on forums like the one here, or on e-Bay, craigslist etc, and if you buy wisely, and if you end up not liking it, you can even usually make a little money when you sell or trade.

I usually order from either pedal geek or musictoyz. Usually, orders arrive next day or, at latest, the day after. Other than that, I order from the builder (in the case of lovepedal).

Musician's Friend has been #1 in service and always at my door in 3 dayz or less to the eastern shore.

In the past when buying boutique its been pedalgeek with no issues.
    Musictoyz? lets not go there.

Tonefactor. Brad is great to deal with.

Buyer beware with Musictoyz. Search the forums.

steve's music center is fantastic. He answers emails right away, his stock list online is always accurate, offers free shipping on some stuff, and ships right away.
Pedal Geek is also excellent, stock is accurate, lots of free shipping, good communication.

I've had zero problems with Sweetwater or Musictoyz, with multiple purchases from both.
Sweetwater sends you that killer catalog too.

Pedal Geek is always my #1 choice. I also recommend Dave's guitars - not as much variety, but the service is stellar.
