Not too many people in music that make me cry when they pass BUT Mr Petty hit me hard.....IDK why, I guess you think your heros will live forever. :(

    Time To Move On

That song was an anthem for my wife and I as we made the tough decision to move across the country (together!) to a city we’d never been to before, knowing that we had to do something, take a risk, see the world beyond, and hopefully change the course of our lives. We did it and it happened.

Close second is Wildflowers. Makes me cry every time I hear it.

That is just an impossible question for me because he wrote SO MANY incredible songs. Today I will go with this one here. Wild One, Southern Accents, American Girl, Refugee, You Got Lucky, Into the Great Wide Open, Rebels, The Waiting, A Face In the Crowd, Don't Come Around Here No More, I Need To Know, Here Comes My Girl and sooooooooo many others come to mind immediately.

I remember the first time I heard Don’t Come Around Here No More. It was such a different sound I didn’t even know it was Tom Petty, but I loved it.
