Tried a whole bunch including GHS Boomers and Ernie Ball Slinky, but my all time favorite is DR Pure Blues.

LOVE THESE! Been using them on all my guitars regardless lately. They feel so slinky to be 11's.

Stainless Steels for me. The brands are the all the same IMO, but I use Ernie Ball since I can buy single strings. Can't stand the way Nickels or nickel-wounds sound

I use 10-40 though. Gives a "balanced" sound I feel.

I tried the Pyramid nickel, probably the finest nickels out there, but I feel they're better suited to studio work. The Mangans are good, in fact, I prefer their nickel alloy better. Newtone are supposed to be some of the best if you can afford em. I've been a real believer in Dean Markley Vintage Reissue(round wound-round core). However the consistency seems to have suffered, so now I'm gonna re-try DR.
