I was surfing around ebay and found vintage usa made DOD pedals.
I used to have many of these. These really brought back memories.

My first pedal i ever bought was the DOD American Metal, then the chorus, eg, flanger, phasor and the big one a 2 second twin pedal.

    What was your first pedal?

Mine was an Ibanez FC-10 Fat Cat. Hated it from the moment I plugged it in. I guess at this point in my development, I'd probably really dig it if I still had it.

The first pedal I ever bought was an Ibanez TS-808 Reissue. I could have never imagined at the time what was about to follow....

It may have been either a Shinae or a Rat. I owned both but cannot remember which came first!

    DS-1 :facepalm

It was a present from my parents...why do chain stores serve up the worst gear to parents on a mission?

Everyone should have to try and get a good sound out of some really bad-sounding gear at some point in their life. It builds character.

An old Danelectro metal pedal. It was plastic and terrible, but at the time I thought I was the god of metal :) Thankfully I outgrew that phase and got some chops.

    Digitech RP300. :facepalm

    I win! :rimshot

Seriously, digitech is coming out with some nice stuff (hardwire series, e.g.) but that RP300 was not pretty to listen to.
Still, it was all I had, so I loved it at the time.

PS- a multi-fx pedal is not a TRUE distortion pedal, so yes I cheated. :D
