    Here's mine!

1968 Ovation Hurricane 12 string. This baby is in incredible shape and less than $900 all in. Remarkable playing and sounding instrument. Great quality all around.
An electric 12 string is perhaps a bit of a novelty but it is truly inspiring. I've already written a song.

    Stoked!

    I don't think there's any finish checking.

    Flamed maple back.

Figured rosewood (Brazilian, says the old brochures).

Love it or List it headstock.

Very cool, don't think I've seen a 12 string version of one of those before!

I bought a '69 Gibson Crest last week - it's a very rare model that combined features from my two favourite Gibsons, the ES355 and 330, with a beautiful Brazilian rosewood body. I've wanted one for 25 years but they're rare and usually out of my price range, so very happy to have landed this one.

I went out with a bang at the very end of 2019, so now my guitar fund is broke as a joke and will likely be for some time.

Don't worry! I have the body, pickups are being wound and more parts are slowly being ordered. I'll probably wait for a bit of spring weather to sand and paint the body. Patience!
