i know that some of you change guitars with every song but for the others...

what is your main "GO TO" guitar that always seems to get picked up when push comes to shove??

mine is a Eric Johnson Strat that I have had for about 5 years. it always delivers for me.

My home made ash strat - it's pretty much perfect for me - I really dig the Fralin PUs

I own several $$$ Andersons, PRS and others, but this inexpensive, EMG-loaded ESP import is my favorite gigging guitar. I love the raw wood neck and body. My wife, hamming it up here, named it "Woody". I own 3 of them, and the ESP relic series is just ridiculously awesome for very little cash.

PS: I paid $1,100 for ALL 3 of these guitars and they all play and sound as good or better as many 2000+ models I've owned. I didn't care for the stock strat pickups, but the LP and tele (i have converted it to an Esquire; I never use the neck pickup in my teles) stock pickups sound great as well. The tele bridge pickup especially is fat and biting at the same time. The LP style is perfect for me, as it's got the LP shape and carved top, but SG thickness, resulting in a clearer, slightly brighter attack and less weight. REALLY cool affordable guitars that sound and play great and stay in tune perfectly. I use them constantly.

My PRS Custom 22 (triple) soapbar is what I pick up first, usually, but the last couple of weeks I've been enamored with my new Ric 330.

Right now, 78 Ibanez Artist 2618. Just a good sound to match my voice.

This is my 1st Gibson and I can't put it down! It's definitely my go-to guitar at the moment.

1993 Hamer studio. probably as close to the perfect guitar as I own. Works in so many situations. Top quality build level.
