Your OD/Fuzz pairing of choice?

Not in the market for anything, but I like these kinds of discussions. What are some of your favorite pairings that aren't 2-in-1 pedals?

Mine would be my Scarab Deluxe/Looking Glass and Fat Fuzz Factory/DOD 250 combos. With the SD/LG, they are both so low-noise that I can basically set the Scarab however dirty I like and use the Looking Glass for some fine shaping. The Fat Fuzz Factory being the opposite of low-noise and inherently bright, I find the EQ of the 250 does wonders to both fatten the signal from the FFF and also tame its high-end tendency.

I suppose I might look for a partner for my Skreddy Ernie next, if anything. Probably something in the Colorsound Overdriver or Tube Driver realm would be my first whack. Though the other obvious option would probably be his Dynamic Mids Enhancer. Something to think about.

Share your pleasures, my treasures.

Loving the Ethos Clean II and Skreddy HFD combo. They sound great individually and stacked, and both respond extremely well to pick dynamics and guitar volume pots.

For quite a while, I have used a Sunface BC183 into a Timmy. Along with the volume/tone controls on my guitar, I can go a lot of places.
Recently using a Carcosa into a BD2 set for low gain with similar results. Trouble is I like the gain on the BD2 set higher than is needed for the stack.

That means I get to tweak some more!

I was running my Soul Food into a Big Muff. Now I have a Wampler Triple Wreck with a fuzz boost and I just use that.

Usually some kind of TS into some kind of muff. My current favorite is my ZIM into my ARC Big Green Pi.

The AM SunLion is my current object of lust in this area. Germanium fuzz and treble boost all in one enclosure. Hoooooooh Boy! :drool

Tone Junkie Dark Side Deluxe fuzz into a Function FX Third Rail overdrive. Both pedals have double switches and the array of tones are endless and stupendous!

Fulltone '69(or Dunlop Jimi mini) into and Dirty Little Secret MKIII is my best combo ever.
The DLS is set for low gain on Super Lead mode, which is great on its own too.

I'm a pretty big fan of a Scarab Deluxe set to a starved/glitchy setting into a Tube Screamer. The scarab can get kind of thin as you make it starve and the Tube Screamer just beefs it back up to this fat destroyed sound.

Was using fulltone fat boost (ver. 1) into a double muff. But these days I've just been using a jhs superbolt, and that's it.

+1
I recently got a JHS Ruby Red, which is a Superbolt plus a boost channel. Killer sounding, and cranked to the gills, it is getting into gnarly fuzz territory. :)
