I guess, but is the clean tone on the marshal mg series really bad?? I honestly will agree that the distorted sound on the second channel is garbage, but i am only using the clean channel with a hint of reverb and the maxon tubescreamer for my overdriven sound. I guess that I will start looking around for a new amp.

Those amps are great. They're on ebay all the time for around $100.

Pretty much all solid state Fenders sound great. I had one of those old red knob Deluxe 85's a couple of years ago, and whilst the dirt channel sucked major balls, the clean was one of the nicest I've heard in any amp.

I've turned in one of them..."look I put a new patch cable in, check my updated photo...", but I kind of feel like I'm done for a while. My KoT high gain has been replaced by a this1smyne's dual-OD creation and my Sitori Sonics Harem Fuzz, by a Basic Audio Foxey Lady (purely for size reasons, the Sitori was probably one of the best Muff-variants I've heard). A big apology to John (Basic Audio) and Dan (this1smyne) for my amateur knob labeling, which looks like a five year-old, had their way with some white-out.

It's a mini-Shape EQ, that is always on.

Your delay setup is my setup. I really like it. Hope you do too.

Please don't take this the wrong way, I'm serious -- have you ever played through a tube amp? I was an acoustic player for the first several years of this obsession and eventually got a nice Strat and a practice amp. And I really thought that amp was alright until I tried out a Blues Jr. at shop. The difference in tone nearly knocked me over. I bought it on the spot. That board of yours looks like it would pair nicely with maybe a Fender Pro Jr. Those are somewhat in the Marshall realm and can be had for little, especially used.

Now, back to the pedalboards ...

Love it. Dig the tunes too. I'm on the fence deciding if I should pick up a GT-500. What are your thoughts on the distortion side?

In about 5 or 6 months I'll have a Screw Driver in the open space. In the meantime I might try a couple Muffs in that spot. Musket maybe?

Like this board. How many and what amps and can you elaborate on the signal chain?
