Bluesbreaker Reissue -- Like an IDIOT I sold it. Dumb.

Have a feeling that if I ever get the chance to try a Two Rock Classic Reverb,.... it might make the list.

Yeah, no way to narrow it down to three. Even cases of extreme GAS can't get me to sell any of these.

    Carr Sportsman Head
    Carr Impala Head
    Carr Lincoln (Scumback M75)
    Carr Skylark
    Headstrong King Reverb Head
    Blankenship Leeds 21 Head

2007 Vox AC30-h2 (my personal favorite that I've owned)
1957 Fender Harvard (favorite amp that I've ever played)
Phil Jacoby's (philtone) modified blackface Princeton with a 12" speaker would be the next closest thing.

Lil Dawg D-Lux (my current amp, great tweed deluxe with perfect volume for my gigs)

Fender "reissue" '59 Bassman (too loud for most gigs, but great amp I miss this one, ended up trading)

65 Amps London (great Vox and Marshall tones, superb clarity, just not my sound, sold)

Orange is the new Orange, for me. I guess the top three of my five are:
Paired with cabs is how they sound best (but really any of the heads sound great thru any of the cabs)-
1- Rocker 15 Terror thru custom Marshall 412 cab (Celestion Vintage 30s)
2- Brent Hinds Terror thru the two EVH 5150 III 112ST cabs (Celestion 70th Anniversary G12H30s)
3- Jim Root Terror thru the two EVH 5150 III 112ST cabs (Celestion 70th Anniversary G12H30s)
4- Dark Terror - thru the modified Blackstar HT112 (Celestion Vintage 30)
    5- Micro Dark Terror - I know, I know...but what can I say I like it

I don't own nor need anything in the huge & heavy 50 or 100 watters, just lunchbox sized gear for me.

I have a buddy who up until recently had a studio in Hoboken. He owns two of the three best sounding amps I’ve ever played through: an early 60s AC30 and a particularly smooth and rich sounding 1971 JMP Superlead.

The other amp that comes to mind was Tim Kerr’s grey panel Vox AC30 that used to live in an older Austin studio called the Sweatbox. Rumor was it used to belong to Guy Picciotto of Fugazi / Rights of Spring.

Out of the amps I’ve personally owned I feel like my Metropoulos 12000, Friedman Dirty Shirley and Supro Black Magick are about as good as I can get.

We have remarkably similar tastes in amps! Kudos!
