Great to see all the love for one of my favorites, and not one I would have thought the TGP would embrace.

Blue, Hejira, Miles of Asiles, Basicallly everything pre-80's, but I even like those alot.

    She's the tops.

I have them all. But man oh man, Jaco's first note on this "album" just slays me!! What a combo, Joni and Jaco!

That's Measha Brueggergosman....INCREDIBLE !!!! I just saw her this past week with Opera Atelier performing Mozart's La Clemenza Di Tito.

Kevin Breit on featured guitar there too. Another incredible musician and writer.
The arrangement and orchestra was lead by musical director Lou Pomanti.
Joni was in tears after this performance.

This was the show I did with Joni. It was the 2007 Canadian Songwriters Hall Of Fame.
What a night it was. In addition to this performance there was Herbie Hancock with Chaka Khan (Free Man In Paris) and James Taylor (Woodstock).

It's like asking who your favorite kid is to a mom or dad - so my favorite kid is Mingus. But the rest of the family is cool, too!

    Hejira
    The Hissing of Summer Lawns
    Anything live is usually stellar

IMO, a national treasure and a gift to music.

I have all of her work, and each CD has been played numerous times - I agree with the posters above that selecting a "best" is not possible.
