I know this is only a small segment of the song, but i'd appreciate any feedback.

I'm going to retool the piano lines during the verses so they conflict less with the vocals. Anything else re: mixing, EQing etc. that you think need to be fixed? Let me know.

Vox yet to be re-recorded also

Vocals definitely need to come up more and levelling off a bit volume wise, they get lost too often. They also sound a little thin to my ears.

    The rest sounds pretty decent.

Cheers, any tips for thickening up the vocals? I'm planning to do some more takes so if i can fix position as well as doing stuff in post it'd be sweet

Good voice and doubling will thicken the vocals.

One thing I felt that the vocals were supporting the music and if you consider that the music is supporting your voice when you're singing, I think you'll get your best results.

You could also consider to spread the instruments better in the stereo field now everything seems to be in the sameplace... And I agree with the opinions above.
Some real quick slapback delay (maybe as short as 100ms) and a deep reverb and then riding the control to get the vocals at optimal level in every single place..
    Great sounds and song otherwise..

I agree that the instruments need to be spread a bit more. There would be no need for vocal doubling if the other instruments had their own sonic space in the field. Don't be afraid to bump the vocal. Sweet tune.
