    John, I am absolutly totally floored. Amazing stuff there man. Feel, speed, tone, chops. The whole picture right there. Incredible playing man.

    Thanks! Very inspirational playing! I absolutely love the way you build the foundation and then reach out into different nooks and crannies. The playing really breathes- lots of life in it. Just wonderful. I may have to move to LA!

    you're more than welcome...it's all my pleasure to share.
    being able to 'attemp' to build solos is such a treat in the band i play with on monday nights.
    between those guys i play with, and the open jam format we have, it's very liberating...
    hence the onslaught and overabundence of notes lots of times!:D
    sighhhhh...oh well, it's live...and alive! lol
    hey, hope you can make it out to LA sometime.
    we really have a blast every week!

    eventhough he may not admit it!;)
    he's one of my all time favorite musicians.

    The Baked Potato is kinda far for me to drive for one of your gigs. Feel free to post more. That was a real treat!

    What is your basic guitar / amp / pedals setup. Sounded GREAT live.

    the gear used was....
    -burny 335 copy w/ arcane pickups www.arcane-inc.com
    -bogner uberschall(with a 5751 preamp tube in V1 position) & matching uberkab(w/2 celestion classic 80s and 2 75s)
    -old mxr phase 90 on the clean stuff
    -and the lead tone is no pedals, just the uberschall.
    -there's an a/da std-1 doing a little something the whole time, with a tiny bit of reverb from an old ibanez sdr-1000
    -the long echos are coming from a lexicon pcm-42 in the loop too.

    good stuff!
