Just acquired a '50-watt Zingaro 1x12 combo from Bill Carson (aka Rhythm-changes).
Picked it up from Fedex, and took it straight on over to tonight's gig. What an awesome amp!
I've been gigging a Matchless Chieftain 1x12 combo for several years now, but got bitten by the Dumble-vibe after owning (for far too briefly) a Two-Rock Topaz and a Glaswerks ODS, both of which got sold off during financially difficult periods.
Well, this Zingaro rocks! I spent almost no time fiddling with the controls, and was able to quickly dial-in exactly what I was looking for... "On-the-edge-of-breakup" with a very tight bottom end, to pair-up nicely with the P90s in my '53 ES-175 and my '64 ES-330. And let me tell you, they both sounded spectacular through this amp.
Thanks to Bill for a great packing job and a truly painless transaction!
