Thanks for posting. Are you using the "loop roll" effect in the first video? I can't find much information on it and it is used.

Hi my friend! In the Gilmour video there is no loop. Harmony is made with a long delay that is controlled by the expression pedal. Thanks.

So the "tails on" on the delay effects allows the swell to continue after the delay is turned off and you can then play over the swelled sound. Is that right? Which delay are you toggling on and off?

There are two delays in the patch.
    1) Mono delay, this delay makes the harmony. Notice that I turn on the delay, I play the chord with closed volume, I calmly release the volume on the expression pedal, I turn off the delay.
    2) Ping Pong delay, this delay stays on all the time.

    Thanks for all the info.
I've noticed you have demoed the G3/G5 and now the G3n/G5n.
Aside from the limitations on the looper and rhythm machine, are the tones substantially better in the newer zooms?
What are your thoughts, old box vs. new box?
I do appreciate all the effort you make to provide your videos.

In my opinion the new Zooms are better. There's something in the drive snore that sounds closer to the real amp.

Bruce great stuff. Don’t own a G5n myself, but I enjoy looking into how tones are made.

    Thanks.

Bruce, I thoroughly enjoyed the modulation video. Even though I have the unit now, I learned from watching you manipulate the parameters. I appreciate how you took a couple of minutes with each effect and also had the camera directly on the G5n screen so we could see what you're doing. This unit continues to surprise me as to what it can do. There were some BEAUTIFUL tones you got out of this and you seem to have a knack for dialing in some great sounds. Keep up the good work and I hope to be able to contribute some patches soon.

Damn you, Bruce. You're making me want one so badly.

*edit* Just for funsies, here's my take at a Slash tone (with my Boss ME-80)
