    Hi,
I've watched as many videos as i could and my choice came to these two od pedals.
I play blues rock and use a JTM45 ri and a 4x12 cab.
I would like to get a fat crunchy sound with that pedal more like the old JTM sound, but without cranking my amp.
For the leads i already have a SL drive so i don't need more gain.

    Thanks for your answers.

    Have a good one.

    I've tried a bunch.
Favorites are Rockett Animal and Weehbo JTM or JCM Drive.
They beat out the BOR, Wampler, SL, more.

Can only comment of the Box of Rock. It's been my go-to drive for years now. In fact I never turn it off.

The wampler plextortion is a better pedal than the drive. You will have more tone on tap.

I have the box of rock, distortron, and a super hard on. I've never tried the wampler.

The box of rock is killer, but I found in my rig I prefer to have the switchable subs mode on the distortron. The box of rock could get a little boomy and flubby for my taste. I also like having the super hard on circuit separate to put it anywhere I desire.

I use these mostly with a marshall 2061x head and orange 2x12 if that helps. The loose bass issue didn't bother me when using the box of rock with my AC30, so it will likely come down to your taste, needs, and overall setup.

Thanks a lot for your answers.
I actually pulled the trigger on the zvex bor. Hope it'll do well.

I have a Distortron, which is just the drive side of the BOR, with a couple of other switches on the outside of the box. I love it.

But, I use it with a few Fender amps....

I did a shootout of JTM pedals a year or two ago and also preferred the Distortron over the BOR, Wampler, SL and Catalinbread with my JTM45 RI.
