I'm glad to see that one of my favorite bands is still out there doing it, although I hope they play something other than LaGrange, Tush, or Sharp Dressed Man.....preferably something newer, like maybe Chartruse.....

Nice,I'd like to see that. They only did one song on the broadcasted Kimmel show, which was off their latest album.

They sounded good. Cool looking matched guitar and bass they had going, loved the Tele.

I love ZZ Top but that sounded like a mess.

Awesome.....can you play that intro lick that Billy plays? I can't, and I've tried!

Yeah....not their best effort. That Tele was cool but to me sounded really thin in that setting.

Nice tune, though I gotta go with Wagster on this one - the last few times I've seen them play, it's been big on "yeah, we're bad" and pretty lackluster in the "and we play well" dept.

Why can't they be like Jeff Beck, and actually get better as they age?

(he says, fully expecting to catch a ration...)

The Reverend is 65, might be time to quit performing live. Still has killer tone though.

    No bass, it's the mix.

At the 1:40 mark it looks like Billy stops playing and taps on Dusty's shoulder, but you can still hear his guitar and it doesn't look like he's just playing with his left hand.

^ He's sliding up with left hand creating sound and then tapping with left hand. He's got so much distortion that wouldn't be too hard.

Best I can say is that he's held up better than Johnny Winter.
