Wanted a Digitech RP1000 and zZounds said send 'em a price so they could match it. I got a price off of Music Submarine? on eBay and sent it to them and they beat that price by $10 w/ Free shipping.
    Price?
    $276.39 w/ free shipping for a RP1000
wow, and that's not all I have had them price match either. Give 'em a shot, they have beat many prices lately that I thought no one could.
    just a friendly psa

I used those guys a lot in the last 18 months and they've be very solid. Especially with returns, they don't give you a hassle and credit your account very quickly. They don't always have the latest gear, but they matched several items with Ebay ads each time.
    Very cool.

Good to know. I've used Sweetwater for awhile, and while I've been really impressed w/ their customer service, they always refuse to budge on prices. Might give zZounds a shot next time...

I also had a good experience. Got an email coupon from PGS for 20% off. Unfortunatly they didn't have the Wampler Plexi-Drive that I wanted in stock. ZZounds matched the price plus 10 bucks. Free shipping. Hard to get any discounts on the boutiqe stuff. I still prefer PGS though and always check them first. They send coupons once a month or so.

FWIW, I love my RP1000. The only modeled sounds that I use are the clean ones. Mine lives in the 4CM with tube amps.

Thanks for the heads up- beating by 10% is good, especially when it's a low price already from a competitor .
